Join us this October for our much loved weekend retreat at the Oregon Coast. We have rented a lovely house where we will write together. We will write to prompts, read our work out loud, and offer one another feedback. You will have plenty of time for solo writing and walks on the beach or to find a cozy chair and curl up with your book.

Saturday & Sunday breakfast, Saturday & Sunday lunch, and Saturday dinner included in cost
Sleeping accommodations on your own. We've compiled a reference list for you here.
$50 additional Friday all day independent work session 9:30am-5pm (more information below) $25 additional Friday evening session 7-9:15 pm
This year, we are offering two optional Friday opportunities.
For an additional $50, you can join us Friday morning and afternoon from 9:30 am-5 pm in our big beautiful house full of comfy chairs, long tables, spacious decks, and ocean views. Here you can write, edit, or outline a project you're working on, or you can work on "Culling Your Notebooks"--Bring some notebooks from previous workshops and spend the day looking through them, finding pieces you forgot you wrote; ones that intrigue you and ask you for more; ones you can let go of; and ones that surprise you by how they seem to magically fit together. You can also bring your laptop, and begin to transcribe from your notebook, editing as you go. This is your time to work! We'll have office supplies: post-its, markers, binders, highlighters, etc. to help you organize.
We hope this time opens you to possibilities of pieces you may want to continue writing during the rest of the weekend. And you can use the weekend prompts to spark your imagination and guide those projects. :
Friday evening from 7-9:15 pm is a workshop similar to our Weekly Practice and Saturday Drop In workshops. We will offer prompts at the start of a writing session, and participants write, read aloud, and offer one another feedback. Cost is $25.
